It was an amazingly warm afternoon in January as we assembled underneath the northern end of the Dames Point Bridge. Our goal was to photograph the bridge, the first in a series that will have us photograph all the bridges of Jacksonville. Dames Point Park where we assembled is secluded and a wonderful spot to photograph both the bridge and the St. John's River. Nature cooperated with us and we obtained some great photos of the sunset. The evening concluded with dinner at the Sandollar Restaurant near the St. John's River ferry terminal. The photo below was provided by Dick Schlaff. Photo Outing to Brevard, NC Our photo outing to Brevard, NC in the fall of 2010 was a wonderful success, with 21 members attending. The photos they took are spectacular and a sampling of them can be seen by clicking here. The photo below of sunrise at "Pretty Place" was taken by Elsye Viola.
